After graduating from the University of Ottawa, Telfer School of Management in 2018, Robert joined Logan Katz full time and started his public accounting career, while obtaining his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2022. He is well-versed in providing tailored service to our clients as a core member of our compliance team. Robert’s professional experience includes the audit and review of financial statements, personal and corporate tax return review, and other technical financial and non-financial consulting services. He is also responsible for overseeing senior and junior staff accountants on various engagements to ensure their timely completion while maintaining high standards in quality of work. In his spare time, Robert enjoys getting outside and playing golf.

Through his time with Logan Katz, Alex has gained a stock of knowledge in owner-manager remuneration and tax planning, personal and corporate taxation, as well as business advisory services. In 2020, he achieved his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. A natural leader, Alex is actively involved in training the new staff and co-op students and is always happy to lend a hand.

Dryden is a supervisor at Logan Katz, where he has been working full time since 2021. Prior to that, he completed a coop term at the company in 2019. Dryden is highly skilled in corporate tax, personal tax, and owner manager remuneration, and he is known for his natural strategic thinking. In addition to his work at Logan Katz, Dryden has passed the common final exam and is actively working towards obtaining his CPA designation, which he is on track to complete in 2023. As a firm representative, Dryden attends many networking and charity events, making him an active and valued member of the Logan Katz community.

Kerry began her career at Logan Katz in early 2008 as Gary Katz’s Executive Assistant.  She came to Logan Katz with several years’ of office experience, along with strong skills that lend to her ability to multi-task and work effectively.  She’s been instrumental in streamlining many of the administrative procedures, as well as creating and maintaining an information/training manual that has been instrumental in ensuring that all clients receive the same level of professionalism and expertise from our entire Administration Team.  She has proven to be a leader within the Administration Team and has eagerly taken on the role of Supervisor of Administration.

Christa has over 13 years of experience with a national firm specializing in taxation for personal, private and public corporate and estate clients. She has worked on a significant number of large corporate restructurings and with a number of cross border clients as a part of a national transaction team that provides expertise to clients across the country with regards to restructuring transactions and tax due diligence engagements.  Christa has completed a number of courses in Chartered Professional Accountants Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program, the most comprehensive income tax training program in Canada, including In-Depth tax course parts I, II, and III, corporate reorganization, and tax issues for the owner managed business. Christa has been a facilitator for the CPA In-Depth tax course for the past four years.

Trevor has acquired thorough experience in all areas of public accounting, including assurance, business advisory services, corporate and personal taxation and processing claims for Scientific Research and Development Investment Tax Credits (SR&ED). The vast amount of diverse industries he has been exposed to over the course of his career include high-tech, not-for-profit, sector councils, hospitality and construction. Through partnerships with DMZ (Ryerson University accelerator), Start Up Garage (University of Ottawa accelerator), Lead To Win (Carleton University accelerator), L-Spark (SaaS-based accelerator) and Invest Ottawa’s Pre-Accelerator and Accelerator programs, Trevor has developed an interest and expertise in all things tech (start-ups through to mature tech clients). Wilson’s goal is to be a valuable asset to their business ventures, wherever they may be. As a partner, Wilson is an active ambassador for the firm.
